Cars is definitely my most favorite animated movie!
The story is so close to my heart because I somehow see myself in all the characters and the whole plot is a narration of human’s life. It was simple but direct to the point. Truly the scenes were predictable but I love how it paints reality.
The characters represent every human being’s strengths and weaknesses. The story acknowledges history as vital part to hold on for hope and worth believing on.
I love Lightning’s smile. He has the most amazing car smile. Being an animated person when I’m happy, I appreciate animated characters. (^_^)
I love Lightning’s detour in Route 64 to discover humbleness and friendship. Being exposed to pretending to be good would actually push people to do good eventually.
Life leads us to unexpected disappointment for us to discover a far greater beauty within ourselves.
Mater is an example of it’s not in the outer look that we can see a friend to be treasured. It’s about trying to get involved without expectations in return. It’s about keeping it real and honoring words.
Sally is the passionate lawyer who defends what’s right no matter what’s the cost. She understood giving up the fast lane and hefty paying career in the city to serve a previously famous and fun area that slowly lost its charm because of progress and good change surrounding it.
Doc Hudson represents most of the fearful people. I got to admit that I did what he did. He hides from an unknown place just to forget the painful past.
The story also taught about the real meaning of glory and winning. It’s not always finishing first in the race but doing what’s really right and what’s good in the heart.
There is so much to tell but I would recommend that you watch it yourself and discover goodness that we all must do if we want life to be beautiful all the time.
My sincere thanks to John Lasseter, Joe Ranft and the whole team who created the movie. It took them 6 years to patiently produce a worthy film. Kudos!
